Vacation Japan

This time a friend and me decided not to do the usual turkey thanksgiving thing. Instead we decided to go to Japan and we had a blast there. Seeing the modern style Tokyo and the more Ancient Kyoto was great. We were positively surprised by the friendlyness and politeness of the Japaneses and the cleanliness of everything. I never felt so welcome and safe in any other country.

After our arrival in Kyoto we met with a friend of my friend who also brought some other friends a long. They showed us the nice spots in Kyoto and we had a great time.

After Kyoto (and spending a last night in a bullet hotel) we continued to Nara. Staying in a Ryokan was a nice experience and the beef we ate in the evening was absolutely delicious. From Nara we continued to Tayama were we went into the Japaneses Alps.

From Toyama we travelled to Nagoya were we met our friends again and had an amazing time celebrating Heiko's birthday, clubbing and finally ending up in a Karaoke bar were we sang till 5am. Getting up a 9am again was not so easy but we met with our friends again to discover Nagoya.

Saying goodbye at the end of the day was really hard but I hope to meet all again in the US or somewhere else.

The last day we spent in Tokyo.
